Dispute management is having a moment that is ripe with opportunity. New tools are coming to market for merchants combating first-party fraud. New regulations will disrupt conventional fee-based revenue for Acquirers and Payment Providers. This changing landscape partly led me to DisputeHelp from my previous employer, JP Morgan Payments.

At DisputeHelp, we’re delivering the technology integration that implements these tools for merchants and keeps Acquirers’ operational processes modernized while keeping them in the revenue chain.

From the Market…

You may be familiar with Visa’s Compelling Evidence 3.0 and its early positive results against first-party fraud. Mastercard is launching a similar mandate through its First-Party Trust program. Both of these mandates enable merchants to leverage their transaction history against first-party disputes.

Merchants, especially in the digital goods space, require these tools to combat abusive first-party fraud practices. DisputeHelp delivers this technology direct to merchants or through their acquirers, fintechs and MSPs, today.

… To the Regulatory Landscape

Durbin II legislation, or “Reg II” in the US will cap down debit card interchange fees and require processors to accommodate debit routing on all CNP transactions. It’s `a mixture of good and bad; interchange fee revenues will narrow, while more cost-effective processing options open up through the debit route.

DisputeHelp is positioned to manage debit disputes and prevent debit chargebacks for the merchant ecosystem. As debit protocols align more to Card Association functionality, DisputeHelp is ready for the increase in routing options when it comes to debit chargeback management.

DisputeHelp Has You Covered

DisputeHelp puts acquirers on the rails to new revenue streams as the card schemes and regulations alter the payment processing ecosystem. And we continue to deliver this progressive technology at the merchant level to resolve, recover and deflect post authorization transaction disputes.
